Mac cremesheen lipstick - fanfare

Hello friends!
Recently I went to Selfridges in the Trafford Centre in Manchester. In this Selfridges they had a couple of Mac booths and from one of them I bought a lipstick.

This is what the box it came it looked like

 I've heard some horror stories about customer service in Mac but the people there were really nice to me and were extremely helpful!

I was trying to find patisserie but I couldn't find the tester of it which was annoying. I was swatching TONS of them though! It was definitely love at first sight with fanfare though as as soon as I swatched I was like "Yes this is the one".

The packaging is gorgeous and so slick

It was £15.50 which I thought was quite expensive for a lipstick, however, it was totally worth it!

• It stays on all day
• It tastes SO GOOD OMG YASSSS
• It is a beautiful colour
• It applies soo nicely

Fanfare

The formula I got was "cremesheen" which basically means that it has a creamy application and a glossy sheen finish.

It's quite hydrating for my lips, I definitely don't feel like they're being dried out but at the same time it's really well pigmented. 

I also like how buildable it is, I can just wear it as a tint to my lips or a bright, vivid colour which is always nice.

So as you can see on the right, that is fanfare swatched on my arm. 

On the Mac website they describe it as having yellow tones but I'd describe it as being pink with a coral/peachy hint to it.

It's definitely a summery colour as it's really bright and happy.

Youtube and Youtube culture

Hello friends!
If you are not aware (which you probably aren't) I LOVE Youtube.
Everyone from Doddleoddle to Jack Howard, from Dan and Phil to Becca Hodgekins (xD) I frickin' love it.
I know that I'm a bit late on the bandwagon for this kind of topic but recently I have been understanding more and more what they're all talking about.
If you're not aware, many slightly smaller Youtubers (like under 1 mil) have been complaining about the repetitive content that bigger Youtubers have been making. They tend to say that their content is becoming repetitive and boring because they are at the top, and therefore get quite comfortable and stay there.
I COMPLETELY agree with this, I would much rather watch NotJustBlonde than PointlessBlog (no offense btw just making a point). I find that her videos are original, inspiring and just really lovely. Whereas some other creators are less and less fitting to the word 'creators'.
Are you a creator if you film yourself doing a challenge every week?
Are you a creator if you film yourself reacting to a video?
My personal definition of a creator is of someone who 'creates' an original idea.
Now yeah I do know that 'there's no such thing as an original idea' but on Youtube, there is quite a lot of stuff to come seeing as it is still fairly new.
But back on topic, what I mean is a person who discusses their opinions on many different subjects.
Someone who makes short films or sketches.
Someone who writes original songs and puts them on Youtube.
Someone who travel vlogs.
etc. etc.
To conclude, Youtube is a creative platform for people who enjoy creating things.
I know it's evolving quickly and I might sound like an old granny for this but I much prefer watching the classic 'vlogger' where they just sit in front of there camera and talk about things i.e AmazingPhil, DoddleVloggle, Jack Howard, Danisnotonfire etc.

For my first EVER post, I thought I would write down 30 facts about me!
I was going to do 40 or 50 but then I realised that I'm not that interesting! Haha!
So here are 30 facts about me, enjoy:

1. My name is Annie Catherine Morris 
2. I wear glasses for reading but I don't think they really do much.
3. I play the drums. (Grade 4)
4. I play the piano. (Grade 3)
5. I play the tuba. (Grade 4)
6. I love irn bru sugar free
7. I love sushi
8. I love cheesecake
9. I hate the word selfie, I don't know why but I just find it really cringe 
10. I have an obsession with Panic! At the Disco and just Brendon Urie in general
11. My pet hate is when people play music and either tap along out of time or sing along out of tune
12. My favourite song is either This is Gospel by Panic! At the Disco or Nothin' on my Mind by Astronomyy 
13. My favourite film is the Rocky Horror Picture Show
14. My favourite TV show is Glee *waits for you to judge me*
15. I cried when Dodie Clark liked one of my tweets
16. My favourite colour is either white, black or baby blue
17. I am awful at PE
18. I have dyspraxia which kind of reveals why I'm awful at PE 
19. My birthday is on the 27th of July
20. My favourite youtubers are Doddleoddle, Dan and Phil, Jimmy0010, Chris Kendall/Becca Hodgekins, Jack Howard and NotJustBlonde. (This list is ever changing!)
21. I have 3 dogs called Bella, Saffy and Tilly.
22. My favourite subjects at school are Music and English
23. As I meet more and more people I am slowly turning into an introvert 
24. I watched all 6 seasons of glee in less than 6 months, I think it was about 4 and 1/2
25. I am 5/8 Welsh. 1/2 on my mum's side and 1/8 on my dad's
26. My life goal is to be best friends with Dan and Phil
27. When I was a toddler I listened to emo music: Avril Lavigne, mcr, bowling for soup etc.
28. When I was a toddler also, I watched Hannah Montana, high school musical, that's so raven etc. All the "Classic Disney" programs basically!
29. I love London and want to live there some day
30. And finally I once broke my ankle by falling into a hole at a beach in Wales.
